Users are prompted with pop-up window “You are being moved in to the hearing now.” Previous versions prompted the user to click “Join Now” from pop up window, then navigate to their local MS Teams application or prompted to use MS Teams in browser.
Clean experience when navigation from the Virtual Gallery to the Virtual Well. Transition into the Virtual Well (Courtroom) The Courtroom can also initiate chat with participants in the Virtual Gallery. Participant can chat/call/video with anyone logged into the courtroom’s Virtual Gallery.
From participant profile then can edit and adjust their Display name. More modern and intuitive look and feel with all the same features: Upcoming Cases, Monitor Courtroom, Chat and Announcements. This version was phased in by litigation type beginning in September 2023.
LACC Release 2.0 introduces an enhanced interface with smoother transitions and heightened security when moving from the "Virtual Gallery" (the waiting area) to the "Virtual Well" (the courtroom).
